Counting Medicines

Are you able to count all medicines showed in next figures using only some milliseconds?.

Well, I can not do that.  For that reason I developed a method which is able to:

1. Detect and separate medicines from the background.

2. Count medicines. 

In order to count medicines, one algorithm is carried out which is able to analyze shapes inside and outside the medicines.  

A patent about this project was submitted to the office of patents in Japan.  

Figure 1, shows some results after applying the developed method for counting medicines.   One small point indicates one detected tablet.
